The agreement with K1-MET GmbH for testing our container has been signed in Linz, Austria, by Thomas Buergler, CEO of K1-MET and Csaba Janáky Co-founder and CEO of eChemicles.
The world’s first containerized low-temperature CO₂ electrolyser system prototype, developed by eChemicles, will be deployed for industrial testing with CO₂ coming from an amine scrubber pilot plant for steelmaking off-gases.

eChemicles’s sustainable technology has successfully left the laboratory! Our sustainable technology has achieved Technology Readiness Level 6 (TRL6): prototype demonstration in a relevant environment.

Our 18-cells stack is waiting to be integrated into our prototype container. While the final touches are being made on our container, we have already tested the stack for pressure tolerance, leakage, etc. It has 45000 cm² active surface area to drive forward our efforts to complete our CCU mission and fight climate change. It is ready to be moved into our container! 🔜 🏗️
